Ji-won's mom died when he was 4 years old. He decided to make his mom proud in heaven and started learning how to sing and dance. He then got recruited at a young age of 8 to be a trainee at a talent agency since he was talented and is very good looking. When he moved in the talent agency, his father and his step mom with his half brother moved to America and Ji-won stayed to focus on the opportunity. Ever since his family moved to America, Ji-won always felt alone. Not having many friends and no family to support him, Ji-won rebelled plenty times but was not let go since of his talents. He quit being a singer at the age of 20 and went for acting so he can atleast be somebody on camera.

In the story: Ji-won had 1 year break and decided to visit his family in America. He met Yuri accidentaly at the airport when Yuri was picking up her twin Kei. He then meets her at a book store. Small world, he kept meeting her everywhere and she kept on asking to be her pretend boyfriend. He thought it would be fun since he was getting bored and agreed. Everyday, when they met for their "dates", he would be more and more interested. After the great party, Yuri "broke up" with him and he decides to go back to Korea.
